I'm standing to represent you and the people of Sir Gaerfyrddin to deliver the change people are calling for.

My approach has always been consistent: listen carefully, build on existing community strengths, and work collaboratively to make a real difference to people's lives.

I am asking you to place me at number one on your preference list because I believe my combination of Welsh Labour values, business experience, and proven track record of community engagement and leadership makes me ideally placed to represent all parts of our diverse constituency.

Politics runs deep in my family.

My mother was a teacher and lifelong Labour activist, and I was raised with my great-great uncle who was an early member of our party and worked underground at Pen y Groes Colliery near Carmarthen.

These Labour values of social justice, community solidarity, and strong public services have shaped my entire approach to life and work.

I am a fluent Welsh speaker who was educated through Welsh and chose to return to Wales so my children could grow up in Wales.

As a mum of two teenagers I feel a responsibility to positively shape the country our young people are stepping into.

Independent Businesses

I helped build and run two Welsh companies for ten years, employing over 40 people. This has given me a real understanding of the challenges facing our local businesses-from payroll pressures to regulatory compliance-while proving that treating workers with respect and embedding them in local communities makes businesses stronger.

Community Power

For the past five years, I have worked as a consultant across South Wales, listening to hundreds of residents and translating their insights into practical policy change, building design or service delivery. Previously I was a Housing and Community Manager on a £200 million regeneration scheme in London’s East End, I learned that best solutions emerge when we build on what communities already possess.

Access to Healthcare

I am currently a non-executive director of Public Health Wales this has provided me with insights and understanding of the health issues which are particular to Wales. I am a vice chair of a large Welsh Medium secondary school. Both these roles have given me hands-on experience of the governance and scrutiny skills essential for effective representation in the Senedd.

Everyday people are struggling with inequality and feel let down by politics.

That's exactly why Reform is gaining ground. They are good at pointing out the problems but provide no solutions.

Our communities have always shown resilience - from the valleys to the coast, from the villages to the towns, we've weathered economic changes and looked after one another through challenging times. But resilience shouldn't mean accepting that young people must move away to find homes they can afford, that local businesses struggle without proper support, that families endure months-long waits for healthcare, or that rural communities remain cut off by poor transport links and patchy broadband.

Sir Gâr faces considerable decisions about housing, economic development, transport infrastructure, digital connectivity, and preserving our cultural identity whilst embracing necessary change.

We require representation that combines practical experience with genuine community engagement - someone who understands both the challenges we face and the opportunities that lie ahead.
